Please join us for  ETC Live!

The Empowered to Connect (ETC) Simulcast is a two-day live-streamed conference for pre or post-adoptive or foster families and professionals. It is designed to help better understand how to connect with children from hard places in order to help them heal and become all that God intended for them to be.

You don’t want to miss this wonderful opportunity to learn more about how to provide the most healing environments for the most vulnerable, so sign up today to be equipped and ready!

We are honored to host this event in the Chapel at EV Free Fullerton (2801 Brea Blvd, Fullerton, CA)
April 5th & 6th
from 9 am to 5 pm (both days).

Coffee/tea, a light breakfast, and an afternoon snack will be provided both days of the conference. Lunch can be found at local dining options and is not covered by the conference.

Parents and other attendees: Each parent will receive a certificate of attendance. The certificates will be handed out at the end of the second day. Attendees are responsible for providing the certificate to their agency, and it is at the agency’s discretion whether or not to count participation toward training credits. To be eligible for your agency to receive training credits, each participant will need to turn in to their agency a copy of each certificate and it is beneficial to also provide them the schedule of the conference.

CEUs for Professionals: The Empowered to Connect Conference has previously been approved for 11 hours through the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), though we cannot guarantee any approvals for the 2019 event. Please note that simulcast viewers seeking NASW credit will be required to complete a post-test and receive a score of 80% or above to receive a certificate.

Anyone interested in staying updated on continuing education opportunities, approvals, and registration should complete the form at www.showhope.org/ceu. Attendees must register for continuing education to be eligible for a certificate following the event.

$10 donation/person is requested. Scholarships available.
