PROVIDING HOPE & COMMUNITY
FOR THOSE EXPERIENCING HOMELESSNESS
A LIFETIME OF MEANINGFUL WORK
We currently conduct classes at several North Orange County homeless shelters in eight week cycles (a total of 32 hours). The course combines teaching soft skills (résumé-building, mock interviews, etc.) with character and identity formation. We believe that as we build a safe and nurturing community, students will develop healthy relationships, gain self-confidence and hope, and acquire meaningful employment.
The combination of Jobs for Life instruction, extended mentorship, and business partnership allows our students to thrive and experience renewed dignity, hope, and purpose.

MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Interwoven with class instruction is the presence of champions (volunteer mentors) who commit to walk with our students for up to one year. Champions journey through class alongside the students, help them work through the material, and develop deeper relationships with them. They foster relationships outside of class, providing relational connections that encourage long-lasting student growth and development.
BUSINESSES PARTNERS (EMPLOYMENT)
The final component is that of business partnerships; employers and business owners who understand our aim in preparing men and women for meaningful work. They may interview our graduates for potential job openings with the intention of helping in the transition to greater self-sufficiency. Business partners may also be involved in class through mock interviews, personal testimony, and mentorship.
VOLUNTEER + BECOME A CHAMPION
Join a team of dedicated and passionate individuals committed to walking alongside those experiencing homelessness.
CHAMPIONS: JfL is volunteer-dependent in its efforts. We need men and women willing to extend themselves for the sake of others. Our greatest need is always for champions who provide support, guidance, encouragement within community to our students.
LEADERSHIP TEAM: Our champions need a dedicated team behind them. These roles include: site leadership, champions coordination, facilitators / instructors, business relations, prayer team oversight, and student intake & oversight.
PRAYER TEAM & MORE: We are also looking volunteers to be part of our prayer teams each class cycle. In addition, we are looking for those willing to help wherever needed.
GET INVOLVED WITH YOUR CHURCH OR ORGANIZATION
Our hope is to positively impact homelessness in Orange County by giving this life-changing program away! Local churches and organizations are a perfect fit for JfL classes. You provide a powerful platform that not only teaches transformational principals but also fosters restorative relationships.
If you’d like to know more about hosting Jobs for Life, let us know! Your church or organization can make a difference in the community.
The prospect of employment gives our students hope as they re-enter the workforce.
First, we need your help to provide mock interviews for our grads! Second, should you choose to hire our students, we believe that having 32-hours of training, a committed mentor, and our seal of approval can provide a win for all parties involved.
There’s no obligation to hire, only to help our graduates build confidence as they enter the marketplace.
JOBS FOR LIFE VENUES AND DATES
We currently host Jobs for Life training at Orange County’s homeless shelter, Bridges at Kraemer Place in Anaheim. We’re currently looking at other locations and dates for classes. If you are part of a church or organization who would like to be a host site for Jobs for Life, please send us an email!
