What is the THRIVE Program Sponsorship

The OC United THRIVE program provides former-foster and at-risk youth in Orange County with stability, housing, community, and a brighter future. Sponsorship is a way of giving that connects a compassionate person (like you!) with young adults in need.

Sponsoring the THRIVE Program gives former-foster youth the chance to grow up healthy, educated, and safe – forever changing the course of their life and future. You just might find that it changes you, too.

Two Types of Sponsorship Available:
A) Engaged in Person (Donor & In-Program Volunteer)
B) Behind the Scenes (Donor Only)

How do Former Foster Youth Benefit?

Former-foster young adults are hungry for support and for relationship. For $250 per month, a young adult in the THRIVE Program will receive wrap-around support on the resource level in addition to deep, transformative community.

Why be a SPONSOR?

Your sponsorship will provide young adults exiting foster care with a brighter future.

Change a life:

For just $250 a month, you can sponsor at-risk young adults in need and provide them with housing, case management, mentorship, wrap-around support.

Become an Advocate:

You will receive a welcome kit, with a sample bio of a young adult like them and other info about your sponsored young adult depending on their desire to share.
