Donate Food & Supplies

Provide and / or deliver much needed food & supplies to people in our community who need it most during this time.

If you are part of a local organization and could use help,
send us an email with your local needs (Email [email protected] or [email protected]).

Please send an email with the following information:

  1. Category of Need (Homelessness, Seniors & Medical Needs, Encouragement, etc)
  2. Name of your Organization
  3. Category of Service (Donation or Volunteer)
  4. Description of the need / volunteer opportunity

St. Jude Medical Center, Fullerton

  • Needs unopened disinfecting bleach wipes.
  • Donation bin and security guard available to accept donation at roundabout on E. Valencia Mesa Drive.

Solidarity / JOYA

In response to the COVID-19 crisis, JOYA Scholars & partner nonprofit Solidarity are working to provide much-needed food & supplies to our Garnet & Maple families. During the next few weeks, our goal is to ensure that our families have access to the resources they need as many become impacted by reduced job security and growing financial concerns.

What Can I Do Today?

  1. Donate in-person or via Amazon Wish List
    • In-Person Drop Off: If you would like to donate any amount of nonperishable food, essential household supplies, or grocery store gift cards, you are welcome to drive up to our distribution site/Solidarity’s office (601 E Valencia Dr, Fullerton, CA 92832 on Mondays, Wednesdays, or Fridays between 9am-12pm), & we will come out to collect them.

  2. Know of any food distribution sites? Please let me know and we will add it to our list, as our families have reported some of the listed pantries to be highly impacted.

CityNet

Help us be proactive in protecting our staff, clients, volunteers and partners against COVID-19, today!

  • Donation needs: Hand Sanitizer, masks, disinfectant wipes, cases of water, bandanas, underwear (men and women)
  • Emergency Shelter Volunteers:
    • Volunteers and donations are needed to support daily emergency shelter operations for Breakfast (7:30 am – 9:30 am), Lunch (11:30 am – 1:30 pm) and Dinner (4:30 pm – 6:30 pm).
    • Locations: Santa Ana & Anaheim
    • Duties include: Unloading To-Go Meal Boxes from food truck, setting up serving area, passing out meal boxes, clean and breaking down area once complete.
    • Requirements: Must be 18 – 65 years of age and in good health, Able to lift up to 30 lbs., Can commit to two days a week for at least 3 weeks

Orange County Asian and Pacific Islander Community Alliance (OCAPICA)

Our main need is businesses/organizations that are in need of employment assistance and want to sign on either as sites that will partner with our Youth Work Experience Program, or places that will hire our participants who are in need of temporary/permanent employment during this time. We want to be a resource to anyone who is in need of assistance during this time. That goes for both businesses and youths who may need employment.
