OC United partners with local schools, businesses, and volunteers to develop united communities by empowering parents and children through after-school programming, mentorship, and neighborhood collaborations.

  • OC is 4th highest in child poverty rate (Conditions of Children in OC 2016)
  • $26,892 Per Capita Income  (OC Healthier Together 2010-2014)
  • 29.6% children living below poverty level
  •  Fullerton has the third highest child poverty rate in Orange County (22nd Annual Conditions of Children Report)

United Kids After-School Program

OC United hosts a twice a week after-school program providing homework tutoring, mentoring, and character development to 40 elementary students.

We also host Wednesday Bible Club, a student lead after-school Bible club where fun, creativity, and the love of God is shared to elementary students.

Volunteer opportunities include K-3rd Mentor, 4-6th Mentor, Junior Leader Mentor, Homework Tutor, Reading Buddy, Bible Study Lead, Craft/Art Lead, Community Service Lead, Small Group Leader.


SOLful provides educationally at-risk elementary students (1st-6th) with academic and creative activities for students to help close the learning gap in the summer.

Volunteer opportunities: Small Group Lead, Academic, Art, Character Development and Recreation Leads.

Twice a month we foster improved neighbor-to-neighbor relationships through family potlucks, prayer walks and inviting neighbors to work together towards making Valencia Park neighborhood thrive. First and Third Saturday of the month
